DURHAM, N.C., Aug. 16, 2017-- Inc. magazine has announced that Adwerx, the top provider of localized digital advertising for real estate agents and brokers has been ranked in 173rd place on its 36th annual Inc. 5000, the most prestigious ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies. Adwerx is also ranked third in North Carolina companies and 16th in advertising and marketing companies. The list is a snapshot of some of the country’s top businesses in the economy’s most dynamic segment, independent small and mid-sized businesses. Many of the most widely recognized brands in America including Yelp, Zillow, and LinkedIn have been past members of the Inc. 5000.

Methodology
The 2017 Inc. 5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2013 to 2016. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2013. They had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of December 31, 2016. (Since then, a number of companies on the list have gone public or been acquired.) The minimum revenue required for 2013 is $100,000; the minimum for 2016 is $2 million.
